COVID-19 Precautions

At the Buck School Inn bed and breakfast, we are excited to welcome you back to our historic property. As a premiere West Chester, PA hotel, we believe that we have a commitment to our guests. As part of that commitment, we have implemented protocols that align with B&B industry best practices for working to defeat COVID-19. In these months of quarantine, we have redefined our cleaning and safety standards, aiming to achieve absolute cleanliness.
While local restaurants and museums may remain closed, Downington, PA and scenic Chester county have a lot offer. You can enjoy mountain biking, hiking, cycling, sailing, canoeing, paddleboard, golfing, and so much more! Check out our list of outdoor recreation resources for more information!
Below you will find some of the steps we are taking to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

The BSI public spaces and high-traffic areas will be cleaned and sanitized with procedures above and beyond our normal routine. Increased frequency of cleaning and use of recommended cleaning agents will ensure our guests can safely use the public areas.

Hand sanitizing stations will be installed at all entrances with a local sanitizer from Faber distillery.

Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing.

In our guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. And we will be placing disinfecting wipes in each room for your use.

We are rolling out enhanced technologies including electrostatic sprayers to sanitize surfaces throughout the Inn. We are also testing ultraviolet light technology for sanitizing.

Breakfast will now be served in the guest rooms, rather than in the public areas.
