Downingtown Boro (2 miles south on Route 322)

For Dinner:

La Sponda | A great Italian restaurant. Well run and uniquely located in a historic mill.

Station Taproom | One of Downingtown’s most “happening” spots. Great beer selection, tasty food, classic pub environment.

Amani’s BYOB | Yes, you can BYOB at Amani’s! My personal favorite restaurant in the area. It receives “Best of Chester County” every year. The Chef is an award winner.

For Breakfast/Lunch:

Green Street Grill | The best breakfast-lunch place in Downingtown. A unique twist on diner food. Take-out available.

The Farmhouse Coffee and Creamery | Charming coffeehouse with a rustic vibe. Great to sit and chat!

Further Away:

Eagleview Town Center (8 miles from The BSI) | Eagleview has 6 – 8 varied restaurants from sushi to Mexican – all are quite good!

West Chester (20 minute drive from The BSI) | A fun colonial town with over 80 restaurants, shops, art galleries, and a performing arts center.
